Install TP-Link Tapo App, plug in and setup camera by following manufacturer setup instructions. Follow the setup prompts to complete installation.

In the Tapo App, choose your camera, then go into camera settings (โ icon) - Advanced Settings - Camera Account. Here you will add a user to be used to share with Elumicate for remote access (Username and password are case sensitive). Take note of the username and password as it will be required later on.
Optional - While Elumicate will not be recording audio on IP cameras, you may still wish to disable audio support through RTSP streaming. Click the volume icon on the camera view screen and turn off the volume.
In the Tapo App, choose your camera, then go into camera settings (โ icon) - and tap on your camera Model on top of the screen.
Take note of the IP address which will be used to forward the RTSP port in your firewall. You may also want to take note of your mac address as it may be required if you choose to create a DHCP reservation in your router to make sure your IP Address never changes.
Setup port 554 on your router/firewall to redirect to your camera's IP address - Router Port forwarding
Find your router's external IP address (https://www.whatismyip.com)
Find your rtsp url by editing the following link to include the username and password you've chosen in step 2 and external IP address you discovered in Step 5 (values in blue must be replaced with your specific values (reminder, username and password are case sensitive). rtsp://username:password@externalipaddress:554/stream1
Add your camera to the Elumicate Network through the app by using the rtsp link created above. - In App Camera Onboarding
